Diagnosed with asthma at 7, I spent years managing symptoms with daily steroids, emergency inhalers, and allergy meds. Dysfunctional breathing patterns disrupted my sleep, triggered chronic back pain, and made focusing difficult. By my early 20s, I developed severe anxiety that lived entirely in my body—I was terrified to fall asleep, convinced I'd stop breathing in the night.

Desperate for answers beyond medication, I started experimenting: breathing slower, nose-only, even taping my mouth shut at night. For the first time ever, I slept well. My anxiety eased. The connection between my breathing and mental health became undeniable.

Years later, when intense dissociation set in, I discovered cathartic breathwork. After completing yoga teacher training and earning my trauma-informed certification in conscious connected breathwork, I finally broke through the anxiety and dissociation stored in my body.

The Missing Piece

While breakthrough breathwork transformed my life, and I was was watching it transform my clients lives, something was missing—I wanted to help people breathe better, not just breathe cathartically.

This led me to functional breathwork training. Now, combining both approaches with movement and mindfulness, I've been able to stay off daily steroids, rarely need my emergency inhaler, can quickly address breathing triggers without medication, and now teach others to do the same.

With regulated breathing patterns, I practice breakthrough breathwork safely and live free from daily anxiety and dissociation.

My Mission

Today, I combine both worlds: the profound healing of breakthrough breathwork with the essential foundation of functional breathing. I'm passionate about ensuring people experience transformation safely, with their long-term respiratory health protected.

Too many breathwork practitioners jump straight into intense techniques without addressing everyday breathing patterns. I believe true healing happens when we optimize how we breathe 24/7, then use that strong foundation for deeper transformational work.

My programs reflect this philosophy—because lasting change requires both breakthrough moments and sustainable daily practices.
